Jerome "Jerry" Houser is a retired American character actor and voice actor in film and television. For Disney, his voice was recorded on the Disney Movie Club voice message system and he voiced Duke, Beast, and Spud in Goof Troop and Hamstring in Darkwing Duck. He also provided additional voices in Aladdin and TaleSpin.
Career[]
Houser was born in Los Angeles, California. From 1971 to 2006, he has appeared in countless films, TV series, animated series, and commercials. Some of his most notable appearances are Summer of '42, Slap Shot with Paul Newman, and in the Brady Bunch spin-off movies as Marcia's husband, Wally Logan.
Outside of Disney, his voice credits include The Smurfs, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, The Transformers, Biker Mice from Mars, Tom & Jerry Kids, As Told by Ginger, and The Legend of Prince Valiant. He also voiced characters in various animated films and specials, such as I Yabba-Dabba Do!, Scooby-Doo Meets the Boos Brothers, Annabelle's Wish, and Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure.
Houser retired from acting in 2008.
